Bygones?

“let bygones be bygones”

“used to tell someone that they should forget about unpleasant things that happened in the past, and especially to forgive and forget something bad that someone has done to them: Just let bygones be bygones and be friends again.”

This concept of letting bygones be bygones has always been present in my life, as I’m sure it has been in everyone else’s. Without getting into details, I wanted to write this entry because I had a chance today to see someone from my past, and after a lot of debating, I decided to do it. Now, call me stubborn, but letting go of the past is not easy. It is really important to mention that letting go of the past and forgiving are two very different things. Thus being the main reason I wrote this entry, to get opinions.
