Great Memory

Will never forget that day… April 15th 🙂

Just for the fun of it, I posted a link to my blog on the Reddit website. Not being familiar with the site, I had no idea what to expect. Then, I came across my very first comment from the public…

Tried to read an article but the font is too atrocious.”

Now, don’t get me wrong, I am fully aware that this is not exactly a comment to write home about, but it is a comment nonetheless. It is a comment from someone other than my friends and family, a comment from the public. My name is getting out there.. very slowly, but it’s happening. Maybe one day in the years to come, I will be able to say, “that first comment I got was awful, it was just uphill from there”, because I mean, how much worse could it get? 😛 Please, don’t ever answer that. Anyways, after reading the comment, I promptly changed my font to something that I hope is slightly more legible. Reddit can now be added to my list of social media sites I need to figure out. So far all I can tell is that this site provides a place for people to post links they come across to share with the public. These links can then be reviewed and discussed. Once I get the hang of it, I’m sure I’ll enjoy using it. Hopefully the more positive comments will come eventually too 🙂

Anyone familiar with Reddit?
Also, have you heard of any other similar sites to use for advertising?
