My mom just came back from a trip to Israel. After being there for almost two weeks to spend time with her mother, she returned with lots of stories, lots of wonderful gifts, and of course… a ton of chocolate! Being the lucky one with a grandmother in Israel, I have eaten my fare share of their chocolaty goodness throughout my life. Such an amazing treat every time! I honestly think I ate more chocolate today than I have eaten in the past week. Also, I gotta say, that is one cool clock! It is now ticking away beside my computer.
My grandma has always been a very special person to me. As a kid, I would be overjoyed when she came to visit every summer. All the memories we share of our time spent together are so very important to me. She would tell me stories while I sat on her lap, we would organize my toys together, laugh, watch movies, it was all so fun. Also, equally as important… she would cook delicious food for me! These special memories warm my heart every time I think of them. Now our time together is mostly on skype, by email, and on the phone… I cherish all of these precious moments.
So, straight from Tel Aviv, a big city in the beautiful Israel, came all of this chocolate, as well as other gorgeous gifts for me, the wife, and the rat babies. A really big thank you to my amazing Grandmother (whom by the way, I call Mamamama… my mama’s mama… came up with the name as a kid and it just stuck) and Mother! I am one lucky girl 🙂
