Hello to all my lovely readers! I’m doing a different kind of post today, taking a little break from the regular stuff, or more like a break from my “all over the place” stuff.
This whole blogging thing has been so amazing for me (and I hope for you guys too, of course)! So many steps that I’ve gone through! Let’s see what I’ve done so far…
1 – Topics – Now, this is where I started. Figuring out what to blog about was definitely the hardest thing. In the end, I at least narrowed it down to a “lifestyle / advice” type thing, but of course I also branch out to other stuff. Good enough for me!
2 – Names – Took me forever to come up with Zoeyvaluated! Couldn’t be happier with the name, I feel like it encompasses everything somehow… because, let’s be honest, I evaluate things. Constantly. 🙂
3 – Themes – This… well, this is always a work in progress, I guess. Sadly I seem to have become slightly obsessed with changing my theme from time to time. Hopefully this one sticks for a while! Pretty happy with it!
4 – Slogans – “…making your life easier, one blog at a time!” Came up with it out of the blue one day, ran it by a blogger friend of mine, and that was that. I blog to help people, so it fits 🙂
What was I missing? What was the next step? Took me a while, but I figured it out! The result?
Here you have it folks, the latest addition to my little blogging world… a brand new logo for my blog! Or in other words, it’s my very own blogo (cheesy, I know)! The only problem was that I had absolutely no idea what to do or where to start. Thus came about my frantic post in a few blogging groups. I begged for some advice, I guess you could say. Then came along the same blogger friend Dawn, she suggested I take to Reddit. There, I found all my answers… or, my one answer, really! Hiring someone to do it for me!
I’d like to take a moment to talk about the wonderful and talented Alyssa Clayton who created this logo for me. She was so great going along with all my wild and weird requests. I started out just asking for a frog and my blog title, but then went through a few stages of different requests.
The rainbow idea was an after thought, because I wanted to show my diversity. Yes, I wanted to show that I’m gay, but also I feel like the different colours represent all the different topics I talk about. Thank you, Alyssa for bearing with me! I know I’m probably not the easiest customer haha. I definitely recommend checking out her site. She was so nice to include my logo and blog link on her site. If any of you ever need something like this done, she’s the go-to girl!
Hope you guys enjoyed this self-indulgent ramble haha.
What do you think of my logo? Also, does anyone have any ideas of what I’m still missing? What do I need to add to this blog to make it better? Sound off your answers in the comments below! 🙂

July 6, 2017 at 5:40pmTopics are so hard for me. When I do come up with something, I write it all in one sitting (if possible) and publish right away. As if my public were anxiously awaiting my next words 🙂 I enjoy your blog and am also obsessed with theming. The blogo is adorable, like I knew it would be. Take care, girl.

July 6, 2017 at 11:50pmAww, your comment is so sweet! Thank you! I’m the same way with topics, if I don’t publish right away, I could keep finding mistakes for days and never actually post it lol. Thanks so much for stopping by! 💙

July 6, 2017 at 11:47pmI think its perfect for you and fits the blog so well. Logos are important as they not only reflect the blog, but the writer as well. I’d say spot on. Well done!

July 7, 2017 at 1:57pmThis is a great idea, using different colours for your blog if it random. I like random blogs because there’s something for everyone x

July 8, 2017 at 12:37amI’m glad you like it! I do random topics because I feel like if I limit myself, the quality of my writing would suffer. Thanks so much for stopping by, it means a lot! 💙

July 10, 2017 at 3:35amOh hai frogo blogo 😀 Btw I do really like your blog Zoey. Don’t limit yourself. I know most people talk about narrowing niches, and in some cases it could be better. But in your case I don’t find it necessary. I like it just the way it is 😀
