So, something interesting happened to me this evening. Just when I thought my life couldn’t get any weirder.. because, you know me, nothing odd ever happens to me! I keep thinking of a comment my friend made at our annual Halloween party this year. During a conversation with some of our friends, she turned to me and said, “…because random stuff always happens to you”. This comment made me so happy, because I found it very validating… random things always DO happen to me! I mean seriously, can anyone remember my twig found in a muffin post a while back? Well, here comes another little fun story! As some of you might know, I’ve been using Instagram now for a little while. I’m still getting used to everything on it, but I’ve really enjoyed it so far. Then, today, I had issues signing into my account on my cell phone, didn’t really think much about it. But, now in the evening, I realized it was still not working on my phone, and not even on my computer. After trying everything I could think of to fix the problem, I was stumped. So, what did I do? I turned to Gen, my at-home tech wizard. Quickly, she found out that my account has been suspended… say what?! Apparently I violated some of their rules? Hmm… still can’t figure out what this means exactly. I automatically feel very guilty, just not sure what I’m guilty for… I mean, maybe some of the pics I posted didn’t meet their requirements or something… I guess it could be possible. But, seriously? Out of everyone on Instagram, they end up randomly landing on my account? Weird, right? Anyways, I contacted Instagram and they emailed me saying the will need me to send proof of my identity before they can help me. More specifically, I had to send them a picture of myself holding a piece of paper with a code and my info on it, Well, here it is… my “mug shot” (edited a bit by Gen for the purpose of this blog). Wow, do I ever need a haircut!!

I sent this in along with a polite plea for them to explain what happened. Hoping to get a reply from them soon!
Has anything like this ever happened to you before?
