Zoey valuated Finally Follows Her Dreams!

Hi, my gorgeous readers! Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the new year!

I managed to kinda (possibly purposefully) skip over sharing any new year resolutions this year. Tried blogging about all that last year, and well, I didn’t actually keep too many of them, did I? Well, the truth is, I have been doing a lot of thinking lately.

Just a few days ago, I heard some very sad news… a fellow FD-Adult passed away. Scott Fass was 38 years old. I was lucky enough to have chatted with him a few times on Facebook, he was a very sweet guy! I cannot imagine what his friends and family must be going through right now. Scott was really loved by everyone, and had a face that simply radiated sunshine and kindness.

Events like this really make a person look at their life. A common thing that people sometimes start thinking is, “I should enjoy my life more”, but let’s face it, I’m already Mrs. “Let’s add something fun to this occasion”, so I think I’m set in the enjoying life department. Then came the unavoidable questions… what am I REALLY doing with my life? I mean, apart from the exciting job search thing and this wonderful blog baby of mine? What is something that I’ve always wanted to do, but have been doing a miraculous job procrastinating with? Having written some very personal blog posts lately has made me realize I’m a lot braver than I give myself credit for. Yay, go me! Anyways, my point is… why not go a step further, even? What’s ‘going further’ than writing a person blog post? Writing a personal book, of course!

I’ve been kinda stumped as to how to share this decision with you, so I did what I do best… write a poem!

Enjoy! See if you can find the hidden message in my poem 🙂

Finally following my dream after all these years,

I am desperately trying so hard to ignore my fears.

Not at all knowing how this plan will go,

And fighting so hard to go with the flow.

Little do I know about all of this author stuff,

Let’s just say, some of this may be rough.

Yet, I hope that sharing my experiences will be enough.

So, there ya have it, folks, my teeny tiny poem. But, let’s get real here, what do I have so far, and what’s next?  Well, the truth is, I’ve picked a topic and a title, just not quite ready to reveal it yet. This topic is very personal to me, so sharing it with the whole world in a book will be a huge thing.

Please, do stay tuned for more details!

Thanks for reading, guys, it means a lot!

Until next time,

Introduce your friends to ZoeyValuated :)

Very sorry to hear about Scott…and gone so young 😕 I have no doubt that you will succeed in writing your book and my wish for you is that the journey will bring you everything you hope for. Take it one chapter at a time…I will be the first in line for your book signing. Hugs
